ECLASS is a digital semantic standard and offers interoperability. ECLASS is the basis for machine-to-machine communication, smart manufacturing applications and the digital twin. The ECLASS standard follows internationally recognized norm standards such as ISO 8000 or IEC 61360-2 to ensure data quality. Standardized product information and automatic interfaces enable continuous processes, which improves ROI and time to market. The IO Summit explains the potential and highlights specific solutions.
